School Bullying
Bullying in schools has become a national problem student’s face in
everyday life. Students who are bullied on a daily basis, suffer
anxiety, insecurity, and low- self-esteem. Even though bullying at
school is only a small part of someone’s life, it has the potential to
affect them throughout their whole life. Bullying is a serious problem,
and people need to help to stop the problem from continuing.
Bullying is usually focused on people who are different. This can either be focused on the victims’ racial background or family life. Either way the victim can suffer physically and emotionally. Parents’ need to watch out for the multiple signs of depression in their kids, because in some cases students feel the only way to escape the situation is by suicide.
Suicide has become a reoccurring event in this century, and the main reason is because of bullying. The majority of suicides take place when a student is in high school. They believe that the bullying is so harsh there is no way to stop it, so they put matters into their own hands. If bullying lessens then less innocent children will feel the need to escape.
By ending bullying in schools, more students would feel safe at school and want to learn. Bullying makes students want to neglect their work, and let their grades drop. This doesn’t only affect the student when they are being bullied, but they are affected throughout their whole life. Without bullying, learning environments would be a place students would want to be at so they can further their education.
